" Web development is a broad term for any activity related to developing a web site for the World Wide Web or an intranet. This can include e-commerce business development, web design, web content development, client-side/server-side scripting, and web server configuration. However, among web professionals, "web development" usually refers only to the non-design aspects of building web sites, e.g. writing markup and coding. Web development can range from developing the simplest static single page of plain text to the most complex web-based internet applications, electronic businesses, or social network services.
For larger businesses and organizations, web development teams can consist of hundreds of people (web developers). Smaller organizations may only require a single permanent or contracting webmaster, or secondary assignment to related job positions such as a graphic designer and/or Information systems technician. Web development will involve the follwoing:
- The researching and design of what the clients thinks he wants and what he actaully wants, we would supply the research of our findings and pitch this to the client.
- Researching the most effective web developement solution for your website, we will generally go the Joomla (Customisation) route or a PHP and Mysql database driven website with a custom content management system.
- Once we have sign off from the client we will put the last two steps below in place.
- We then set your web address up on our servers and we build you a custom under constuction splash page. From there we will contact you (The Client) to let you know that your website has been set up on a subdomain of galore.
- So for example we will supply you something like this: htt://www.yourcompanyname.galore.co.za and from there you can view the developement of your site.

Web Development - Planning:
- We do not develope without a technical specification.
- We will get a brief from the client and draw up a technical specification of the site, meaning we will walk you through every functional step website and this must be signed off before work would even commence.
- Once the technical specification has been signed off we will commece with all the points mentioned above.
